In this video, you will have the opportunity to learn how to make a childhood favorite, I am of course talking about chocolate chip cookies! Michele shows the recipe step-by-step so it is easy to follow and the result is impeccable! Don’t hesitate to try it at home, after all, we are living through a global pandemic, we deserve a sweet. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 stick unsalted butter

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)

  • 2 cups chocolate chips

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a large bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda. In another bowl, beat together the butter with both sugars until fluffy. 

  2. Beat in salt, vanilla, and eggs until well combined. Mix in the flour mixture and add chocolate chips. 

  3. Make drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough 2 inches apart onto parchment paper-lined baking sheets. (Instead of parchment paper you can spread butter and flour on pans)

  4. Bake until cookies are golden brown around the edges but soft in the middle, 8 -10 minutes. 

  5. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack or cool plate and let them cool.
